Adventures in the Sky

About a year ago, I bought my dad a flying lesson for Father’s Day. He’s super into airplanes (and has even had lessons before), I had a groupon, and it seemed like a really rad gift. This summer, we finally went, and it was so much fun! We flew to Wasaga Beach in a tiny little plane. Here are some photos from the day.

This is the plane we flew in – I think it was called a Cessna, and it really did look like a tin can up close.

We were all really excited to go!

I may have gotten a little nervous when my Dad took us in a low, sharp turn to see a shipwreck in the bay:)

Here’s our view of the beach…

And Dad landing the plane – one hand!

He had so much fun :)

We booked the lesson through TryThat!, a website that lets you give someone an experience as a gift. What would you want? xo

Photos, of course, by Mike :)
